Well this is awkward

More of an update than a log entry. Very brief. But remember when I said it was high time that I sacked up and dedicated a sprint to learning programming. Well, I did, and I also learned just how out of my depth I am when it comes to coding. I spent almost an entire week just trying to get an engine to conceive a basic framework, and all I got for it was five deleted projects, a mountain of error messages, and a powerful urge to defenestrate my computer.

So, we pivot once more. Still learning computer programming, but with a much more robust tool kit thanks in large part to the free online Harvard CS50 course; then later, there is a book that teaches Python I want to pick up before buying a zero to one hundred Gdot tutorial that seems well structured and worth the $250 price tag.

Unfortunately, learning is going to take longer than just a single sprint. The CS50 class is an eleven-week course, I don’t know how long the Python book is, and the Godot tutorial is just as long as CS50. So, things are going to slow down here. Testing will continue in the background as I gather info from my current physical prototype to iterate on the concept. But the project has entered a glacial period: its not frozen, just moving very slowly; hopefully, once things heat up, the pace will also ramp up.
