Arguments

I have fortunately never been on either end of a tense argument, however I have

witnessed several. One in recent memory happened only last semester during Team Leadership, in witch one of the team members was late on getting work in and the scrum master was trying to figure out why. Long story short, things where said, and tempers started getting agitated until the two of them where just going back and forth with nothing really getting done. It should be mentioned that this was all happening over a Discord so nether party could judge tone or inflection and was just going off of the worlds themselves. So while this is all going on I’m sitting there as the Product Owner wondering if and when I should step in. On the one hand this is getting out of control and I don’t want it to spiral any further or damage the trust we had built

up to this point. Yet on the other hand I didn’t know if I had the authority to commit on a teammates behavior and was parallelized by fear of only adding to argument as well as being thrown into the middle of it. All and all it was a pretty harrowing thing just to watch making me equally nervous and paranoid, like watching two trains speed towards one another unable to call out to either of them. Thankfully another team member stepped in and resolved things before things got out of hand and later the two met face to face and worked things out.
