Rivalry

I can not recall anytime I have had any kind of rival, either with another team or an individual team member. Now this may just be because my definition of rival is something who trying to better themselves by contrasting them to you. Even my little management issue with that team mate I mentioned in the second reflection. There the problem was more or less me not asserting myself enough as a leader and him not knowing that he was doing was causing problems. So neither of us where completing with each other, we were just tripping over one another, which is not a rival, that is just a road block. If I did have a rival, I hope it would be an mutual respect situation where in the two of us are using each other as high water marks and that in betting the other both parties improve. However, the only way I see that working is by keeping friendly tabs with said rival and if their decent hand working people. If that is the case then we can bounce ideas off once another and get valuable outsider feedback that may be harsh but ultimately useful to creating a better product. If they’re not that however and are just trying to get in the way, then it becomes a question of how avoid them and letting them stew in their own problems by themselves. Weather that be cutting off contact with them or reporting them to proper authorities to ensure that no one gets hurt and that my team can get back to work.
